Veggie Pizza




Veggie Pizza

Crust
Press whole wheat bread dough onto pizza pan.
Bake at 450 for about 6-12 minutes.
Spray the crust with cooking spray to keep sauce from soaking into the crust.

Toppings
Pasta sauce
Bell peppers
Sweet onion
Vege-meat (Grillers Recipe Crumbles)
Black olives
Pimento “cheese” sauce

Bake again at 450 for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.

Vegetable Gravy



Vegetable Gravy 

Whiz in blender until smooth:
2 cups water
1 1/4 cups raw cashews
3/4 cups oats
1 onion, quartered
1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
2 tsp. salt
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp tumeric

Pour blended mixture into pot and add:
2 cups water (use to rinse the blender)

Bring to a boil and add:
2-4 cups more water
2 pounds frozen mixed vegetables
2 cans garbanzos, drained
1/2 bag Grillers Recipe Crumbles by Morningstar Farms

Simmer until vegetables are tender. Serve over brown rice. Add salad and whole grain bread for a complete meal.
